Through wide market knowledge and experience we identify motor insurance niches and create products to fit the profile of the customer within that niche

We then work closely with software houses to build those products onto their systems and enable EDI communication

All our products are only available through insurance broking intermediaries who are fully authorised by the Financial Services Authority in the UK

We have well over 1000 agencies across the group covering most postcode areas in the country

We use a service company - Markerstudy Limited - in the UK to manage the product distribution, marketing and administrative functions on behalf of the three insurance companies

Motorist Services Ltd. (MSL), which was formed in January 1988, is part of the Financial & Legal Group. However, some companies within the Group have traded since 1984

MSL offers the Independent Broker and Insurance Intermediary a nationwide Legal Expenses product range, which we believe to be the most innovative and comprehensive service available

In the early 1980’s the Group offered a comprehensive ULR service coupled with credit car hire. This service was later enhanced to offer a fully underwritten LEI product. MSL recognises the need to provide a quality service to its policyholders, and is one of the longest established independently owned Legal Expenses providers within the UK insurance market

MSL is continually looking to improve its level of service, and develop its innovative approach to give you new products. The formation of Magnus Insurance Co. in 1995 [fully authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) and member of the ABI] enables MSL to respond quickly to the market needs and consider any schemes or ideas proposed by our Brokers or intermediaries

MSL prides itself on the quality of service it offers to all its Broker and Insurance Intermediaries. This includes an excellent In-House Claims department and panel of specialists Solicitors, helpline service for all products and, of course, dedicated field support offered by our sales executives

MSL are members of the Motorist Uninsured Loss Recovery Association (MULRA) and are Authorised and regulated by the Financial services Authority. Magnus Insurance is a member of the ABI and all products are re-insured through Lloyds
